Neue Schule Tranz Angled Lozenge Balding Running Lever has a 16 mm Salox® Gold mouthpiece and stainless steel rings. This bit is often sourced for strong horses or those with a tendency to lean or pull down. The loose ring discourages locking on, while the comfortable mouthpiece discourages over-bending or head tossing with a rein aid. Because the poll is employed, a wide, padded headpiece is recommended.

Salox Gold mouthpiece metal is a high copper alloy specifically formulated to reach rapidly and maintain the temperature of a horse’s mouth, and thereby encourage bit acceptance.
