The Schockemöhle Equitus Theta Bridle is an innovative, anatomic, three-in-one design. It can be used as a bitless bridle, with a bit or with two pairs of reins as a semi bridle.

Engineered in Germany for your horse’s comfort, it has all the anatomical principles of the Equitus collection. Ergonomic shaping aims to eliminate pressure and discomfort at the most sensitive areas and main blood vessels of your horse’s head.

The familiar shape of the Equitus noseband is cut slightly wider in this Theta model, with slight reinforcement for a stable fit and soft pressure distribution on the nose bone. For bitless riding, reins are buckled directly into the perfectly positioned nylon-reinforced D-rings at the sides of the nose.

Thanks to button rivets for attaching cheek pieces (sold separately), the Theta can be used with a regular bit. It also offers another buckling option for use with two pairs of reins—one set on the D-rings and one on bit rings. This option results in a semi-bridle for sensitive horses from the point of introducing them to a bit right up to an alternative bridle in show jumping.

Crafted from quality leather, this bridle has a softly padded crownpiece shaped to avoid restricting the horse’s ears. The browband has a dramatic curve and an extra-wide fit to avoid pressure in the area of the eyes and ears.
