The E.A. Mattes All-Purpose Sheepskin Saddle Pad is a technically correct designcontoured to suit the serious competitor. Genuine sheepskin panels have dense fibers that mold perfectly to the horse’s back and provide natural moisture-wicking and shock absorption. The fibers eliminate friction yet allow air circulation and ventilation to help keep the horse cool.

Designed without seams in the saddle panel area, the pad does not chafe or create pressure points when used with a well-fitted saddle. The Spine Free® design allows clearance for the horse’s spinal processes. Inside, a layer of no-bounce Poly-Flex® adds more impact protection; the quilted cotton top provides a classic look with durability.

Pommel has extra padding and a luxurious sheepskin fiber detail. Adjustable billet straps and girth loops add security.

Machine wash with liquid Melp. Dry naturally away from heat sources and sun, pulling pad into shape while drying. Brush fleece fibers gently to restore loft. See manufacturer’s label for detailed care instructions.
